ZHTF Audited Annual Report 2021
The 2021 Annual Report of the Zero Hunger Trust Fund (ZHTF) highlights its continued efforts to support vulnerable populations in St. Vincent and the Grenadines. The Fund provided books, uniforms, and essential school supplies to students at 12 beneficiary schools, and awarded 12 bursaries to students preparing for secondary school after completing the CPEA. Support was also extended to over 300 elderly and vulnerable individuals through the Golden Years Nutrition Support Programme, and to two secondary schools for their Agricultural Science Programmes. In response to the April 2021 volcanic eruptions, ZHTF aided displaced Vincentians through shelter support and provided additional help to the economically disadvantaged via its Discretionary Fund Programme. The Fund also partnered with the FAO to support the Parliamentary Front against Hunger, reinforcing its commitment to food security and poverty reduction.
